FLEUR DE CALAIS
-  Table Art Collection  -

'FLEUR DE CALAIS' is a prestige range imagined by Franck Ackermann for Tableware, which includes a porcelain set, tablecloths and luxury napkins, all decorated with the same lace motif as that of the knife 'Le Calaisien '.

PRESTIGE PORCELAIN

Ceramics for fine tableware appeared at Longchamp under the impulse of Claude Phal-matiron around 1832. Long dedicated to the manufacture of earthenware, it evolved through its successive owners and became one of the spearheads of the French ceramic industry. The end of the glorious ones will sound the death knell for this earthenware activity, in 2016, 8 years after its cessation, the company is reactivated by Philippe Orliac who this time leads it on the road of high-end porcelain.

Calais lace (motif from Noyon Dentelle Calais) is drawn and affixed manually. After a final firing, they will become integral with the enamel.

The collection is signed by Franck Ackermann with the licensed motif of Noyon Dentelle - Calais. Unique pieces entirely handcrafted by the Manufacture de Longchamps.

a product of indulgence,
a personal reward
in an increasingly anxiety-provoking society
and less and less rewarding. "
